I had a recent PM from a new user asking about how I use Patternform. Rather then answering him, I've put my answer here for every to view:
Firstly Patternform has been around and evolving since 2002 so there are no quick fix's, and each person who sticks with patternform will find their own way to use it. I personally tend to use the Moneyform cards, since there is nothing else like it on the web (that I know of), so any selections you come up with will not be an "obvious" selection, so there is every chance you'll get a better price.
Look for runner who have RED and GOLD coloured numbers since they are the ones who have shortened the most Inplay, which usually means they made a move during a race, which means they have a "turn of foot". They may well have faded thereafter so in the formbook they may look disapointing, but it is well worth have a look at the runner to see if today's conditions might suit them.
