Hi All
I/m quite new to the site.
Just wanted to ask a few questions regarding pace stats
3.55 Epsom - Imshivalla - http://www.patternform.co.uk/epsom_2015 ... ace_v3.php
Take Imshavalla for example
the first 1 (with red line) to the side what does that mean exactly
Is the most recent race the 2 then 3 then 1-1-1
It says at the top 10 runs but this is showing 12
Finding front runners would it be best to look for many 1's and 2's?
Also what does the small 999 mean on some of the races?
All help is appreciated
Thanks
James
Pace Question
Re: Pace Question

The number next to the red bar is a pace Guess for today's race - " I use the last 10 runs (upto) and currently make the pace number the value at a third of the way down the ordered pace list"
>Is the most recent race the 2 then 3 then 1-1-1
Yes (if you move the mouse - pointing thingy - ove the codes you should get the date of the run)
>It says at the top 10 runs but this is showing 12
I thinks it's 11 now, not 10 - the first number is not a previous race
>Finding front runners would it be best to look for many 1's and 2's?
Yes - but it also worth looking at the in running comment
>Also what does the small 999 mean on some of the races?
Usually means the software can't decode the comment to create a pace code
Hope this helps

Hi,
Thanks for your response. Think I understand most of it... Don't really understand this part...
I understand its the prediction, but how its worked out? The number next to the red bar is a pace Guess for today's race - " I use the last 10 runs (upto) and currently make the pace number the value at a third of the way down the ordered pace list"
Ex:- Bath 4.50 http://www.patternform.co.uk/bath_2015- ... ace_v3.php
Avenue Du Monde as pace prediction of "3" and numbers of 9-3-8-7 ??
Re: Pace Question
Could be a bug - looks like it should be 7 - not 3.
