using pace to beat the fav

Postby mike mercury » Tue Jan 03, 2017 10:28 am

Been looking at pace angles . If the pace was everything then picking winners would be easy and bookies would be broke , Came up with an interesting little thing with regard to laying short prices in win/place markets and today threw up
Bangor 1.45 On the Road (currently 3.85 / 1.61ish
Musselburgh 2.0 Rioja Day ( currently 6.6 / 2.6 a bit big but current fav

Will see how these fare today but non runners can play a massive part so will also factor that into racetime when it comes

On the Road looked beaten at one piont but unfortunatley grabbed a well earned 2nd 5.3 / 1.94
Rioja Day was 6 / 2.32 and got 6th so something clawed back there
