Hurricane Rita 25/1 made an impressive hurdling debut. held up for most of the race until 3 from home she quickly began to make eye-catching headway and was hunting down the winner from the last fence where she appeared to be hitting her stride and was keeping on well ...what was impressive was, though she was beaten by 3.25l she was 13lenghts clear of the 3rd placing in a race with a fast winning time of 5m. 38.50 secs, which is 4.64 secs faster than the course average
