FALSE FAVOURITES

Hi I have got hold of a copy of False Favourites by jonathan Burgess dated 2007 which sells for around £20 to £25 from various sources on the internet, Its a ( p.d.f.) manual which sets out a series of rules and principals based on relevant information and statistics in order to lay False Favourites.
And i must admit it is rather good for the money spent, all of the info contained in this manual is very logical and helps to find False Favourites to lay on the exchange of your choice, There is a fair amount of research to be done on each race to find a favourite to lay but you only get out what you put in as they say. It would be nice to take all the info this manual contains and automate it in some way via software to do most of the work but for now i am using Patternform and other sources to gather all of the info to make a decision to lay a certain favourite.
Has anyone read this ebook, And if so any ideas.

Kevin.

I haven't read this and have never heard of it. Can you give away some of its general principles, ie what to look for?
I know the bookies often get it wrong, and probably not by mistake. Sometimes it's easy to spot a false fav IMO, but the secret is in doing it consistently to a profit.

From what I gather elsewhere, the book is more a guide than a set of rules to follow - in other words, different people might make different choices.

You would need to decide on specific rules (with yes/no answers) if you wanted a chance of automating it.
