How to Donate to Patternform

Postby martinkil » Mon Feb 16, 2015 10:34 pm

Paypal donations need to be sent to - martinkilgariff@virginmedia.com - any donations MUST include your Patternform username (so I know who to credit) and the fact that it is a donation.

£10 donation will receive - 1 months access to patternform

£30 donation will receive - 3 months access to patternform + 10 days extra

£40 donation will receive - 4 months access to patternform + 2 weeks extra.

£60 donation will receive - 6 months access to patternform + 25 days extra.

£80 donation will receive - 8 months access to patternform + 5 weeks extra.

£120 donation will receive - 12 months access to patternform + 8 weeks extra.

If you don't have a paypal account we can send you a payment request from Paypal for whatever amount you want to donate then you can use whatever payment method you want - visa, mastercard etc ... Just let me know on webmaster@patternform.co.uk

So the wife wears the trousers :D :D :D why not charge a fair monthly price or a discount if its for a year , that way we all pay the same and then avoid the punter thats always last to buy a round of drink ( the world is full of these tight a/holes who would drink the well dry and then make a quick escape  )

He makes a fair point actually, there are always those freeloaders that want something for nothing. Short arms deep pockets, last to the the bar first out of the taxi etc etc !

It's something to consider I suppose. In the meantime maybe I'll just restrict parts of the site to people who have donated, or have some extra goodies - just for those who have donated.

i think its upto martin really.

Now people have to log in you can see potential client base

You know how long you work on the platform so setting a realistic wage seems fair to me

not everyone will be able to afford to give/commit monthly so i think it should be fair to all , so maybe just restricted area would be best? not sure how that would work though?

i have had issues with paypal in the past and i swore never to use them again so other options would be grateful if going down the paid route? i like ukash as its just a simple way to get money online in a way where no threat is present..

i am happy to go with majority but in fairness nobody should work for free but give a notice period so anyone can get involved with no excuses i think something like beginning of flat season onwards as its more like a launch and thats important if change is made imo

shall keep an eye on the developments but im happy with anything chosen really so count me in regardless :)

Frankly I can't believe this resource is free, everyone who puts time and effort into making patternform what it is should be applauded.
I'm still in my early days of trading and working on the exchanges in general but now that I've found this site I feel I have a far greater insight into each market I'm looking at and I'm hugely grateful for it. I intend on donating but as I'm working on min stakes for now, as time progresses and more importantly, bank progresses, I can afford to outlay more on information/data, software, pictures etc etc... working with a 50 euro bank and outlaying 20/30 a month for software and possibly another 15-30 on pictures, it's hard to justify every extra cost in the beginning but no doubt, all potentially essential pieces in the puzzle.
Cheers guys, I will be contributing to this great resource, when my resources grow in time and you deserve to be paid for what you provide, 100%.

Good Morning... I think Gruss is 6 quid a month (or 60 annually) and the Geeks Toy is only £120 for a lifetime licence (well it was, so please double check!) and they are sufficient for all you need trading. For pictures, just use Betfair live video if you are trading in running (back and lay same price for a fiver to get access), although sometimes they are slightly behind for the ATR tracks. Are you looking at pre-race trading or in running, as I can certainly help you with set up etc to get you started on your trading journey? Best send me a private message to save hijacking this thread, but happy to help. Cheers, Steve

I agree that Patternform has been very kind to us, being 100% free..... I've made a small donation, hope it helps. Thanks again, 'Team Martin' :)
