ASCOT
2:15 MOHATEM Gelded during the winter and raised his game when making a winning reappearance at Yarmouth (10.1f). Now 7 lb higher in tougher race but, with so few miles on the clock, there may be more to come.
2:15 WILLIAM HUNTER Looked progressive when bagging trio of handicaps last term, including over C&D. Hasn't fired on all cylinders so far this season, but capable of a bold show if back to something like his best.
4:00 GEORGE WILLIAM Multiple winner last year and successful start to this season at Nottingham. Left with too much to do when fourth in 21-runner Newbury (1m) handicap next time and may still have more to offer. - SECOND 12/1 -
4:00 TAUREAN STAR Made winning reappearance in 1m handicap here last season (second victory at this track), Also struck on his comeback this time round at Yarmouth (7f) and, up just 2 lb, he has to be feared.
4:00 FASTNET TEMPEST Dual winner in 2016 and bright start to this season when a close third at Newbury (1m) where he had several of these rivals behind. Drop back in trip looks a good move and he's a major player. - WON 11/2 -

LINGFIELD
4:50 EVENING ATTIRE Ended 2016 in fine heart, recording 3 all-the-way handicap wins over 7f (2 on the AW). Even better form when runner-up in a big-field handicap at Leicester last month.

NOTTINGHAM
2:40 SILVERRICA Won twice off similar marks last season and looked as good as ever when second on return at Chepstow (5f) last week, suited by the strong pace without being subject to an overly hard time. Claims.
2:40 MAJOR VALENTINE Thriving on his racing, completing a quick-fire hat-trick in a C&D handicap last month. No surprise to see him go well again in this form despite another weight rise. - THIRD 6/1 -
3:15 FIRE JET Improved when winning her first 2 starts in handicap company last season. Creditable efforts upped to 2m both starts this term, runner-up at Doncaster last month. Entitled to be in the mix again. - WON 9/2 -
4:25 SUNGLIDER Winner at Wolverhampton in November, but comfortably held final 2 starts. Better than ever when winning 8-runner Beverley handicap (10f) 12 days ago and claims again in this sort of form.
4:25 PANKO Successful twice over this sort of trip last season and he should strip fitter for his Haydock return last month, proving too fresh and ultimately finishing weakly. Fancied to be closer to form here. - THIRD 8/1 -

THIRSK
6:15 KINLOCH PRIDE Three wins from 4 runs this year. 2/1, won 12-runner handicap at Catterick (5f, good) 17 days ago, comfortably. Has good chance on form. - WON 4/1 -
6:15 CULLODEN Latest win at Chelmsford City in March. 6¾ lengths ninth of 12 to Kinloch Pride in handicap at Catterick (5f, good, 9/2) 17 days ago. Visor on first time. Looks competitive on form. - THIRD 10/1 -
6:45 AIRTON Latest win at Newcastle in December. Creditable second of 10 in handicap over this C&D 3 weeks ago. Should go well again.
8:45 GAELIC WIZARD C&D winner. 20/1, ninth of 11 in handicap at Pontefract (5f, good to firm) 19 days ago, met some trouble.
8:45 KYLLACH ME 12/1 and visored for 1st time, career best when winning 19-runner handicap at this C&D (good) 21 days ago by 1¾ lengths from Our Place In Loule. - SECOND 15/2 -

* Windsor 18:50 / Goring 10/1 Resumed winning ways over C&D in August. Solid reappearance second here a fortnight ago

* Brighton 15:50 / British Embassy 25/1 Progressive in handicaps last year for different yards, and better than bare result on return/stable debut at Nottingham (8.3f) last month

* Brighton 16:20 / Melabi 7/4 Fourth in a strong race at Pontefract (10f) and duly took advantage of further drop in the weights to score at Thirsk (12f) last time. Player from 3 lb higher.
