Postby gpnt » Sat Mar 02, 2019 10:41 am

Perhaps more experienced users will know this course better than me,considered to be a very far course like Haydock and Doncaster, does seem to favour front running types this race looks like it has a lot of Pace?
For that reason I'm Going with war sound and zalvados

Dolos and Mercian Prince, based on recent speed performances in good class races, represent good value at current prices

Newbury is a real galloping course, flat sweeping turns with long straights. I don't think it particularly favours any type of running style, but long striding runners would be suited. Looking at the pace chart I don't think there is any single runner who must lead, so I don't think it will be a breakneck pace, but neither will they hang about. A real fair race is likely where the best horses are likely to run their races.

I think Paul Nichols has a very strong hand and wouldn't be surprised if the winner comes from one if his three entries - Dolos, San Benedeto, or Warriors Tale
