Irish jumps racing..Help with class

Postby Searmh » Tue Mar 26, 2019 9:27 am

British jump races have a class system we can use to makle selections but irish racing does not. I know i can use the prize drop downs, but im never sure if 5k and 7k would represent a difference in "class" for irish horses. Does anyone know or have any info on how the prize money for Irish racing can be catergorised to finding drops down/steps up in class?

Hope someone can help

I just follow the Official Ratings for UK races then measure the Irish races against them, say 0-100 for top of the range Class 5 0-120 for the highest Class 4. These are National Hunt but for flat just use the corresponding ratings. It gets quicker as you get used to it.
