1.35 Doncaster
An absolutely cracking race where 5 of the 7 runners have some sort of chance.
1) Casablanca Mix – Has been raised 19 pounds for it's two wins last spring/summer which included the 28k summer plate at Market Rasen. 4/9 when winning a listed chase last time and should be suited by the drying ground.
2) Happy Diva – Ultra consistent mare who in it's 14 completed chases has been out of the first two only twice. Won the 90k Grade 3 Betvictor gold cup (3rd home won 73k chase since) at Cheltenham last month and raised 6 pound for that win. In the form of her life.
3) Lady Buttons – Won 4 in a row last season (mix of Hdl and Chs) finishing 4th in the G1 Mares Hdl at the festival. Won this race last year (5 ran 3 finished) when an evens fav, much tougher race this year but was only beaten 6l in the G1 Fighting Fifth Hdl LTO.
4) La Bague Au Roi – Top novice chaser from last year having won a 73k G1 chase at Leopardstown in Feb, and finished a close 2nd to Kalashnikov in another G1 at Aintree. Disappointed on seasonal debut (found to be in season) and returned to form with a 3rd behind the 161 rated Top Notch in the G2 Peterborough.
5) Sensulano – NR
6) Dalila Du Seuil – Listed hurdle winner in France finishing 4th in a £170k G1. Two runs in novice events in this country winning one and falling when hampered at the second. Has it to find, but has potential.
7) Holly Flight – Outclassed
8) Queen's Magic - Outclassed

Should be a cracking race between the 4 principles and a slight preference at the prices is for Happy Diva, but it's really a race to watch.

Lived up to it's promise with Happy Diva touched off in a photo by last years winner Lady Buttons with La Bague Au Roi a length or so back in 3rd.
