Naas Monday

Postby philipg » Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:37 am

15.00 Mokhalad stands out as a horse to run a solid race if fit enough. Ground/Trip/Grade all suit. Win/place for me.

You would have been hard done by if Mokhalad had not been placed Philip. Not sure what the jockey thought he had under him, Dancing Brace maybe, finished like the proverbial rocket.

I did not see the race Martin, so I must watch the replay, although I feel my blood may boil. Looking @ the 16.00 Race I simply must have a few shillings on insignia of rank he will come through this ground, and also this trip is ok. 70s? looks a price we can certainly work with.

Just taken 100 for 4 quid and 8.2 3 places for 16 quid..... I think these prices are workable, but with the odds on shot we may not get a look in....

Mokhalad was completely taken off his feet, so I could class myself lucky on the place actually, I would be very interested if this horse ran over 8f in the next week or so while the juice is still on the ground. 7f on drying ground may find him out again ? what do you think?

In the 4.00 listed race the winner came from the top two of official ratings (finished 1st and 2nd not in market order), soi lets try the same again in the G3, the 4.30 - Blissful - rated 101 - 10.0 and Hamariyna - rated 102 - 21.0 - small stakes on both, although Hamariyna is a well brad Aga Khan filly who won a G3 last year.
