using patternform
Re: using patternform
does any one know how u can remove selected item singly once clicked rather than having to reset then put all in again?
Re: using patternform
If I understand what you mean correctly you should be able to..
Click on It again to deselect it ?
Click on It again to deselect it ?
Re: using patternform
Hold the Ctrl key down then click on it.
This can be used to both add a single selection to the already selected selections or remove a single selection.
It "toggles" the selection status of the selected value

Re: using patternform
ah thank you very much,i did work out a way of doing it myself i was just highlighting/selecting them all in each box as when all selected is the same, but using the control key is far easier, thanks for your replies
Re: using patternform
I presume you know how to select a contiguous number of options - for instance all the AW goings.
Select the first one of the list (Slw), then go to the last one, hold the Shift key down and select the last one of the list (Fst)

Re: using patternform - ran to figures
can i ask a question re patternform "ran to" ; i am a fan of patternform but i am easily flummoxed ; using the 1.50 race at newbury from today (sat 18th aug 2018 ) looking only at a couple of horses and using the last run only 1) GOOD FORTUNE won a class 5 carrying 9-2 and has a speed figure of 65 a multi figure of 91 and ends up with a ran to figure of 70 , in todays race he is carrying 1LB less
2) BOITRON won a class 4 carrying 9-8 and has a speed figure of 79 with a multi figure of 104 and a ran to figure of 65 , in todays race he is carrying 7LB less ;
using the figures from the last race only i cant see how GOOD FORTUNE can end up with a ran to figure higher than BOITRON ; i presumed that the horses with the highest "ran to " figure were more likely to win

Re: using patternform
First point is that handicapping 2yo is more of a art until they start running in handicaps (nurseries), and a rating a runner achieves in a race depends on:
class of race it runs in,
the weight it carries,
the class of the runners which raced against it,
the distance it wins by, and
how easily it wins the race.
There may be others, but a rather nice glass of red wine is clouding my faculties - in a very pleasant manner.
