Creating a short list

Postby GMBing » Sat Feb 15, 2020 10:05 am

Hi Martin, I'm sure there are many like myself who works through the race eliminating horses that perhaps won't like the going or distance or perhaps are just too old or carrying too much weight etc to compile a short list of serious contenders for the race.
In large fields it can be difficult to keep track of your research and I was wondering if there could be a little check box next to each selection to fade all its data to pale grey so that by the end of the process you would clearly see the three or four horses on your short list for final selection.
Although it seems a simple idea it might be a nightmare to facilitate on the site in which case we'll stick to the paper and scribbles.
Let me know what you think.

King regards
Gerry

Something similar has been asked for before (marking non-runners), so I'll see what can be done, although using my current approach once you leave or refresh the page you'll lose the setting.

Losing the settings on leaving the page would not be a problem.
Who you can magic something up

Thanks

A very creative combinations of words to form that final sentence - I'll see what I can do.
