Quantum Dot

Postby Mark Alan Smith » Sun Feb 01, 2015 8:16 am

I'm going to get the ball rolling in this thread. The Runner QUANTUM DOT from the Ed de Giles yard is a Layer's paradise! This horse to date has run sixteen times. It's Placed just the once (3/10) priced at 2.16
The good news is for some reason which is beyond my comprehension this runner often goes off at 10-1 or less in the Win Market and incredibly low odds in the Place Market. FIVE runs have been 1.76 to 1.95 whilst EIGHT runs have been priced at just 2.16 to 4.70
It ran again just yesterday and although may have had you worried trading for the win into 3.70 from sp11.50 it finished an average 5/10 once again. And once again, for the SEVENTH time running I have successfully taken it on for the Place ;)

There are plenty of these mules out there and I will advise a few others later in the coming weeks.

Not only is the price too short, but looking at the price movement card -

If you click on the "1 Hour", button then in it's last 6 races it always end up at a lower price than it's price an hour before the race. That said it has already been quite heavily backed.

5.8 into 4.7 - in the last hour - just like indicated by the price movement charts.

Being backed again - I suppose this time the drop back to 5f is the backers hope.

And finally makes all. Every dog has there day it seems! (Especially on the AW!)
Had Mossgo not blown the start then Dot would likely have finished second today. I'll take it on NTO as long as Probert isn't on board.

Mossgo had the hood left on for a couple of strides ... how helpful. Everything went right for Dot today and it only just won. We want it to return to class 6 in a 5f races drawn on the inside at somewhere like ling. Since it's been backed pre-race in it's last 7 races it should be backed as early as possible then any profit taken pre-race when it gets backed again
